Ninty-nine volunteers that helped to package 22,000 meals for Kid’s Against Hunger. The boxes will be shipped along with 1450 other boxes sometime this spring through the Port of Houston. The destination is Puerto Limpera, Honduras which is on the eastern coast of Honduras.
The region, inhabited by native Miskitus people, was devastated by 2 hurricanes last year destroying their crops leaving residences looking for food. Roughly 2,000 children are fed each month with the Kids Against Hunger meals that are packaged and shipped to Honduras.
