Members of the Rotary Club of SW Wichita Falls invited candidates and community members to our early October meetings to encourage WF citizens to learn about the candidates and vote in the November election.
Both the district one city council candidates Whitney Flack and Oscar Verduzvo (write-in) visited our club this week. Talking to your candidates and discovering their vision and plan for our city is important.
All three candidates for the Councilor at Large position visited with club members today: Sam Pak, Larry Nelson and Austin Cobb.
Direct 2 city council candidate Robert Brooks has visited our club twice. Once to talk about his work coaching kids from low-income families to help them win college scholarships (and coaching his daughter to the Olympics), and now once to speak about his vision for leading the city into the future. Please vote on November 5 for your choice of elected leaders.
Elections will be November 5. Please vote and express your vision for the city’s future.
