Meet our newest member of Rotary

Dr. Van Tassell was born in Texas but raised in Idaho. He graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology. When Dr. Van Tassell was completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Idaho, he was selected as one of only eight predental students from the state for the Idaho Dental Education Program. From there he earned his doctorate from Creighton University, where he was nominated into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Society by his faculty members.

Dr. Van Tassell has also studied at the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and has achieved Fellowship status. In addition, he is a member of the International Association of Physiologic Aesthetics.

Dr. Van Tassell stays current on the latest evidence-based treatments and technologies that will bring more convenient, comfortable, and predictable options for your family’s care. He has a special interest in the Fountain of Youth Dentures (FOY Dentures) and Implant Dentistry.

When not providing for his family of patients, Dr. Van Tassell enjoys time with his own family – his wife Kierstin and their 5 beautiful children. He is an active leader in his church and in the community.

And now as a Rotary member, Dr. Van Tassell joins 1.4 million members world wide that transform their communities through 47 million volunteer hours annually. As Rotarians, we fund sustainable projects world wide ($333 million in the 2020-2022 Fiscal year).
